Save The Net

April 25th, 2014 | Posted by pmpax in Politics - (Comments Off on Save The Net)

Yet again the Internet is under attack again by corrupt government and corporate interests. The Internet is meant to be free, a place where ideas, business and information is free and open for all.

I wrote to these individuals to let them know how I feel and letting them know that I stand for freedom of the Net.

The FCC Commissioners’ email addresses, to which concerned citizens might send concerned email:

Tom.Wheeler@fcc.gov

Mignon.Clyburn@fcc.gov

Jessica.Rosenworcel@fcc.gov

Ajit.Pai@fcc.gov

Mike.O’Rielly@fcc.gov.

The FCC’s main telephone line is 1-888-225-5322.

Please do the same, the Internet needs your voice and support to help keep it open, free and a vehicle for Truth.

The Internet Must Remain Open and Free

April 24th, 2013 | Posted by pmpax in Politics - (Comments Off on The Internet Must Remain Open and Free)

Sadly, once again the internet is under attack! Put simply, if we who care about such concepts of freedom and openness are called upon to rally together to stem off the corrupt politicians, as well as those major corporations which are self seeking and desire complete and utter control.

First, there is a push for a broad rage of taxation for any financial purchases through the web. This has nothing to do about “fairness” and everything to do with hurting the little guy, the small business owners, as well as ultimately the consumers.

I contacted my Congressional representatives this morning by phone call and I will be mailing a letter as well!

For more information and how to best contact your Congressional representatives, Ebay has set up a web page to help stop this lunacy

Ebay-Internet Tax Alert

Second, if that wasn’t bad enough, the hydra of SOPA is back, this time calling itself CISPA. This will allow for the federal government to monitor our private communications and allows companies to hand over our personal information with no legal protection or oversight.

Stop CISPA

CISPA is back

Help turn the tide against those who seek to limit our freedom. The Internet is under attack and it needs you to help keep it safe, open and free!

Sen. Rand Paul Rocks!

March 7th, 2013 | Posted by pmpax in Politics - (Comments Off on Sen. Rand Paul Rocks!)

There is a filibustering taking place right now bySen. Rand Paul, who is speaking in response to the administrations policy of allowing drone strikes on American citizens, on American soil, who are labeled as dissenters and on a secret “hit list” which is based upon whatever whim the administration/government decides.

Our Constitution, our Bill of Rights are being shredded right before our eyes! No due process, no recognition of the very Constitutional amendments that protect and secure our very liberty.

Whatever ones political leanings, I certainly hope that this is a moment of realization as to what is taking place within our beloved country in terms of our God given rights.

I applaud and support Sen. Rand Paul as he stands and voices a stance for freedom!!!
